To use the metal detector, users need to move their device around metallic objects. The app will automatically detect the metallic object and indicate the percentage of detecting metal rate and intensity of magnetic field. The app also has a reset button that changes the metal detector suitable for the current magnetic field strength. The magnetic field meter indicates the current intensity of the magnetic field around the device in μT. Users can change the range of measuring by pushing the change scale button.
The app has settings for sensitivity of sensor, sound on/off, and vibrator on/off. However, users should be cautious as measuring range or value may differ depending on the sensor on the device, and it may cause damage to the sensor or device if the device is in an over-ranged magnetic field.
